Lego mold fun!
These molds were so fun and easy to use (and clean after)! Great to use for anything! Including, but not limited to, Jello gummies, chocolates, decor for cakes, even recycled crayons! Here is the recipe we followed below:
Ingredients:
*Lego molds, coconut oil/vegetable oil, 1/3 cup of water, 2 .25 envelopes unflavored gelatin, 1 3oz sugar free gelatin-any flavor
Step 1 (Lightly grease the molds with oil/cooking spray, or coconut oil)
Step 2 (Pour the 3oz flavored gelatin packet into a bowl)
Step 3 (Pour the 2 .25 envelopes of unflavored gelatin into the bowl)
Step 4 (Add 1/3 cup of water into a sauce pan, then add the gelatin from the bowl slowly, and whisk)
Step 5 (Parent-Put saucepan over Medium heat and continue to whisk until well mixed and it looks similar to a paste)
Step 6 (Pour carefully into molds)
Step 7 (Put molds into fridge for 10-15mins or freezer for about 5 mins)
Step 8 (Take out of molds and enjoy!!)
We have made these several times already! The boys ask to make them at least once a week lol! Here are a couple other pictures to enjoy from our first time making them! Next time we will attempt homemade lego chocolates!!!
